ABOUT

ABOUT ME
SLP & Infant Development Expert
Hi! I’m Shelby, a pediatric speech-language pathologist, resource creator, & your go-to cheerleader for all things toddler talk. I’m passionate about helping little ones find their voices & supporting parents in feeling calm, confident, & capable (because let’s face it, parenting comes with enough second-guessing already!).

I work with late-talking toddlers & their amazing families, turning everyday routines into moments for connection & communication. I believe therapy should feel like play, progress should fit into real life (yes, even on snack-crumb-covered, meltdown-filled, unwashed-hair days), & parents should never feel alone.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me curled up in my hammock with a cheesy romance novel, daydreaming about DIY projects I'll never do, or chasing sunsets across central Wisconsin.

At Tattle Tales, I’m here to help you build your child’s communication through connection, not perfection, so you can spend less time Googling & worrying, & more time enjoying those sweet, silly moments together.
MY APPROACH
Connection. Confidence. Communication.
At Tattle Tales, my approach is simple: real-life strategies, playful learning, & a whole lot of heart. I believe that the best way for children to learn is through moments of joy, connection, & exploration.

Here’s what you can expect when we work together:

-
I'll follow your child’s interests to create engaging sessions that feel like fun, not work. We’ll celebrate every babble, word, & breakthrough together.
-
You know your child best. I’ll partner with you to set goals, share strategies, & make sure therapy fits into your family’s unique day-to-day life, messy moments included!
-
Progress happens when kids feel safe, understood, & connected. I'll focus on building your child’s confidence & helping you feel supported every step of the way.
-
I’ll show you easy, research-backed techniques you can use during everyday routines. No fancy equipment or Pinterest-worthy activities required.
-
Parenting is hard enough without the pressure to do everything “right.” My mission is to empower you with tools & encouragement, not overwhelm you with rules or guilt.
Because every child deserves to communicate, & every parent deserves to feel calm, capable, & confident as they help their child find their voice.
